LINDEN — At approximately, 4:25 a.m. today, Linden dispatch received a call for a structure fire at the 600 block of Zeigler Ave. The Linden Fire Department quickly contained the single room content fire and the fire was under control by 4:55 a.m.
Two residents along with two Linden Police Officers were transported to the hospital for smoke inhalation, one resident to Trinitas Hospital and the other three to St. Barnabas Hospital.
The Fire is under investigation as possible arson.
The Linden Fire Department received mutual aid from Clark Fire Department, Clark EMS and Elizabeth Fire EMS.
