What is your favorite part of girls lacrosse?
“I love the speed of the game and how it is such a team-oriented sport. Lacrosse focuses on working together to reach our goals and creates a powerful team energy.”

In what way has the sport benefited you?
“The sport has taught me to be tough, work hard and to never give up. Lacrosse has also allowed me to meet so many great teammates and coaches, spend quality time with my family at tournaments and establish lifelong friendships.”

What is your biggest challenge in lacrosse?
“Always staying in the right mindset during a game. As a goalie, it can be very hard when the opposing team continually scores. However, it is very important that I stay focused and rally my team.”

How do you get ready for a lacrosse game?
“By listening to my favorite music to pump me up before a game. For my pre-game meal, I typically have a whole grain waffle with peanut butter and strawberries.”

What’s your favorite memory of this season?
“Our victory against Governor Livingston. It was such a cold and rainy day, but my team powered through and worked very hard and cohesively. This game stands out because it was so high-energy and everyone contributed to the win, which was awesome.”

Who are your favorite professional athletes?
“Gymnast Simone Biles and former UNC goalie Caylee Waters. I admire their dedication and focus to their sport.”

What is your favorite subject in school?
“Psychology. I find it very interesting.”

What other hobbies do you have?
“I like to cook with my family, hang out with my friends and play with my dogs. I also really enjoy art. I have taken many art classes in high school and especially loved photography.”

What are your plans after high school?
“I will be attending Drew University in the fall, where I will be playing lacrosse and majoring in psychology. I am super-excited for the opportunities ahead of me. I am also extremely grateful to have such a supportive family and amazing friends. I would also like to thank all the coaches I have had throughout the years, especially Coach Berk.”
