When and why did you get involved in basketball?
“As a young girl, I used to go to see my cousin, Steven, play basketball for The College of New Jersey and as a family we would go see his games and I lived for watching the games.”
What do you most enjoy about basketball?
“I love the intensity and the competitive nature of the sport.”
What position do you play?
“Shooting guard and point guard.”
What have been your major athletic highlights or achievements so far this year?
“Committing to Christopher Newport University, to play basketball and pursue my career in physical therapy.”
Do you hope to improve on any specific skill?
“Better ball-handling and outside shooting.”
Outside of athletics, what do you like to do?
“I enjoy traveling, going to the beach and watching the Warriors basketball team, both live and on TV. I enjoy spending time with my sisters, family and friends.”
Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
“I see myself pursuing my dream of being a physical therapist to help other people recover from injuries and make a difference in their lives.”
