Author to host program on organization at Cranford Public Library

CRANFORD — The Friends of the Cranford Public Library will sponsor a program entitled “5 Minute Organizing Ideas for a Fresh Start,” with author Jamie Novak. The program will provide organizing tips and tricks that will help to purge piles of paper, clean closets and streamline lives.

Because many people are busy these days, the ideas that Novak will present can all be done in five-minute increments. The program will take place at the Cranford Community Center at 220 Walnut Ave., Wed., June 18, at 7:30 p.m. Registration is required. Priority will be given to Cranford residents.

To register, call the library at 908-709-7272 and ask for John Malar; send an email to [email protected]; or visit the library reference desk. When registering, reference the program and provide your name, address, telephone number and email address.

Novak has been seen on HGTV and QVC and, most recently she served as a home blogger for Martha Stewart’s Whole Living and resident organizer for NBC’s iVillage. Her tips have been seen in national magazines, such as Woman’s Day, American Baby, Parents and Family Circle. She is the author of 1,000 Best Organizing Secrets; 1,000 Best Time Saving Strategies; Stop Throwing Money Away: Turn Clutter to Cash; Trash to Treasure; and The Get Organized Answer Book.
