UNION COUNTY, NJ — Celebrate the end of tax filing season with FairTax New Jersey on Saturday, April 16, at the Monmouth County Shrewsbury Branch Library. Beginning at 10 a.m., the FairTax NJ organization will discuss the business of FairTax NJ.
From 11 a.m. until 2 p.m., there will be a discussion of various tax reform proposals, including the FairTax. The proposed FairTax legislation would end the tax filing process for approximately 90 percent of the people and businesses that currently have to file. Come, learn, argue, and have some fun. Light refreshments will be available.
The Shrewsbury Branch Library is located at 1001 Route 35, in Shrewsbury.
