ELIZABETH, NJ — The Elizabeth Avenue Partnership is set for its third annual Golf Outing on Thursday, May 7, at Galloping Hill Golf Course in Kenilworth, with a shotgun start at 9 a.m.
Two hole-in-one prizes will be available: $10,000 from State Farm Insurance, Angel L. Rodriguez, and a new Mercedes Benz from Ray Catena of Union.
There will also be several hospitality tents on the course, including Marriott and DoubleTree Hotels as well as Alligator Property Management, which will all be equipped with snacks, drinks and giveaways.
All proceeds from this fundraiser will support the organization’s mission of revitalizing the Elizabeth Avenue shopping district through beautification, safety, security, parking and event programming.
Registration for the event begins at 7:30 a.m. and a breakfast will be served, sponsored by Trinitas Regional Medical Center. Golfers will have the opportunity to warm up at the new 52-booth driving range or partake in a putting contest before taking to the links where a “closest to the pin,” “longest drive” and the two “hole-in-one” contests will be held. At the conclusion of the tournament a barbecue lunch will be served from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m., followed by an awards ceremony and raffles.
