CLARK — Seventh graders in Suzanne Hamilton’s Language Arts classes at Carl H. Kumpf Middle School in Clark recently reviewed story elements using a short story that they read in class.

While reviewing the elements of a story, Hamilton would call out an element and the students would jot down a part of the story that they felt best fit into that category. After this, the students walked around the classroom and posted their sticky notes in specific locations to separate the different elements.
