First lighted church in Roselle celebrates 150th anniversary

Photo Courtesy of the Borough of Roselle LET THERE BE LIGHT — The First Presbyterian Church in Roselle was the first church in the country to be outfitted with electric light. An electrolier, or electrically lit chandelier, from the original installation still hangs in the passageway of the church.
