Springfield’s Calderone School of Music head guitar instructor wins grand prize in Jam-Off

Urban_091413SPRINGFIELD — Stephen Urban, faculty member at The Calderone School of Music, recently completed his first full band studio track, which is now creating a buzz online.

Urban is the head guitar instructor at CSM’s Springfield location and also teaches in East Hanover. His compositional prowess and technical skills on banjo and harmonica, along with vocals, acoustic and electric guitars are featured on his new studio track.

Urban teamed up with Sean Gill, of Nightlife Entertainment, who has worked with popular artists like Seal, Cher, Madonna and Celine Dion.
