Police make arrest after two month investigation; missing auto parts found after four locations searched in three northern NJ counties

FLORHAM PARK — On April 4, the Florham Park Police Dept., assisted by numerous law enforcement partners, culminated a two month investigation into the theft of auto parts –on multiple dates — from new vehicles parked at Royal Cadillac, located at 334 Columbia Tpke. in Florham Park.

On Jan. 26, Jan. 27, and Feb. 2, Royal Cadillac reported thefts of tires, rims and center caps from numerous vehicles on their property. The total loss attributed to the thefts and associated damage to the vehicles was approximately $77,000.

An investigation, led by Det. Brian Ford of the Florham Park Police Department, identified Randy Williams, 35, of Sayreville, as the alleged person responsible for these thefts.
